I worked with the Account Manager who received the initial concept from Clayton Homes corporate office. The concept was to improve and simplify the ordering process, something that would work for 34 different manufacturing plants, each having several diffent product lines, and each product line having different interior, exterior, and decor options. I was project manager and had 3 other designers working with me. I was responsible for providing design and layout of various brochure options, co-ordinating photography (from 3 different sources), conducting in-house photo sessions (with color correction), file management, interactive pdfs, and prepress files, along with weekly updates to the client. I first had to design an introductory package consisting of every sales literature option being offered. These packages explained the new process and included actual examples of what their new sales literature would look like. After the plant managers received the packages Clayton corporate provided them with a ordering timeline. We then emailed the interactive pdfs (which featured every available option for every product line) allowing each manager to specify exactly what they wanted in each brochure. The pdf was emailed back to us and orders were then placed. I then co-ordinated the production of each manufacturing plant’s sales literature from start to finish, again on a timeline set by Clayton corporate. I’m happy to report the campaign was a huge sucess and everyone at Clayton agreed it was a vast improvement over previous years. Show here is the introduction piece only.
